Reading your words feels much like ‘erlebnisse’, Nicole. It’s an ethereal German word for the experiences—positive or negative—that we feel most deeply, and through which we truly live.

On solitude • There’s so much depth and wholeness in solitude, not only as a place of return to ourselves but as a home for connection with our Selves.

Connection often mirrors our internal space and highlights those parts of ourselves that need tenderness and awareness. We are constantly evolving and expanding, in both solitude and connection.

Perhaps, solitude is way easier than connection because one can easily resign to an illusion of control as they only have themselves to worry about at that moment. For one, true solitude seems to never be lonely; it's a union between the lover and the Beloved — You come home, make some tea, sit down in your armchair and all around there's a lull of silence as you sit beside yourself. It’s an expansive reservoir of timelessness and space that augments your internal reality.
