Don’t surround yourself with “smarter” people. The trick is to surround yourself with people who are free in ways you’re not. (Ribbonfarm) I’ve been living by this concept before I could consciously articulate it.

I’ve set my life up so that I can do whatever I want, whenever I want. Like pick up my bags and travel halfway across the world, at a moments notice. Already done that, multiple times!
How many people can say that?? So many are trapped in jobs, expectations, routines that are undesirable. It’s important for all of us to craft the life we want to live.
I found a friend, who is now my situation, simply from mutual work sitches & being a cheerleader, but i live EVERYDAY feeling safe and myself around them, and it's the least expected friendship i ever thought would fill my life w this much joy, but beauty truly lies in the eyes of the beholder 🥺💙
