“By extension, to love writing is to be an instrument of attention for the world. To be sensitive to the small, the intimate, the mundane. To open the door to dreams and to let them transform you.” - Loved this part! Thank you for using your words to show us the (seemingly) mundane in new ways 🤍

Favorite piece so far. I read it and I thought bits of sentences could be included in a song.

This was so beautiful to read!! Really gorgeous imagery of an exterior life (and the films, books, conversations it contains) and interior life (existential and philosophical questions about how to live, how to be)…

Love the Foucault quote especially; it so perfectly captures how making and living involve constant discovery and openness; you can't decide in advance what will happen at the end!
