Loved this, Nicole. On the duality of changeβanother thing that surprises me is how I can look back at how different, distant my past self is from who am I now. Yet, in the present moment, I think who I am now is who Iβll always be.
i guess as our environment changes, our values can stay the same. i wonder if "values" are a good way to explain the deepest, unchanging parts of who we are. i also wonder if we can be truly sure that there is unchanging things about us. what do you think? it's lovely to read your writing, thank you.
