Love your writing so much! Have been a reader for quite some time now and I love pieces like these that allows me to view the world thru your eyes, from the biggest structures to the smallest trinkets. Have to say that your writing inspired me to live days with more appreciative, in-the-moment perspectives. Can't wait for the next one!

My two favorite novels that depict Bergen, in case you want totally unsolicited recs, is My Struggle 5 by Knausgaard and The Septology by Jon Fosse (he renames Bergen as Bjørgvin). Hope you're having a good time around these regions :)

I very much appreciate these recs. Thank you Henrik! Also Knausgaard - haven't read a ton but using this as a nudge to do so.

I really connected to this. The thought of who we once were and who we have become - and how it's hard to be this new self, completely free of our past selves. This was wonderfully moving and thought provoking. I can't wait to see what you gift us with next.

I love this. It feels like a series of brief reminders, which is often exactly what I need.

loved this a lot - scattered thoughts are pockets of gold! and lovely to read your descriptions of Norway - fun seeing your own country through someone else’s eyes - especially when they write about it so beautifully 💌

Such a lovely read! "Most of the life-changing, critical turning points in life are a direct result of building up adequate volume of a) nerve, b) effort, c) persistence. In that order." 🤍 Thank you for sharing!

This is so very beautiful and wonderful. Thank you, actually, for a different essay. I hope your expression keeps flowing uninhibitedly, because that shall make it the most beautiful version of itself. Wishing you a wonderful trip! 🌻🌱

I really loved this whole piece and your writing style. Especially this: “You never find the same person twice. Not even in the same person” (unknown)
